Marshell Henry Chesser, 67, passed away on July 4, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer. A celebration of his life will be held on Monday, July 7, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with Gay Chesser officiating. The family will greet friends on Sunday, July 6, 2014 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry St., Macon GA 31201.
Mr. Chesser was born in Tampa, FL to the late Henry and Audrey Chesser. Marshell was a graduate of the Hillsborough High School “Class 1966”. He was a Mechanical Engineer with Nottingham, Brook and Pennigton. He was a devoted husband, father, brother and friend. He never met a stranger and to know him was to love him.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn “BabyCakes” Chesser of Gray, daughter; Vanessa (Chris) Power, son; Kenneth (Debbie) Chesser, brother; Gay S. Chesser and sisters-in-law; Julee Chesser and Marcia (Ronald) Barnwell.
