Marilyn Hyndman Patterson

Marilyn Hyndman Patterson, 77, passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2019. The family will greet friends Monday, February 4, 2019 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. A private committal service will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 886 Mulberry Street, Macon, 31201.

Marilyn was born in Springfield, Illinois, to the late Thomas Donald Hyndman and Anna Louise Kaveney Hyndman. She was a creative homemaker and her passions included music and art. She contributed much of her time towards educating developmentally disabled children. Marilyn was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister.

Survivors include her children, Mark (Mary) Patterson of Illinois, Keith Patterson of Macon, and Stephen (Rhonda) Patterson of Gainesville, Georgia; seven grandchildren; sisters, Sister Donna Hyndman, OSU of New Orleans, Louisiana and Susan (Philip Whitson) Hyndman of Washington State.
