Leroy Jackson Hartley, 90, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Sunday, June 17, 2018. A celebration of his life will be held Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at 3:00pm in the Chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Gibbs officiating. Entombment will follow in the Mausoleum of Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 2:00pm until the service. Leroy was born in Crawford County, Georgia to the late Herman and Lena Becham Hartley. He was the owner of Hollywood Studio Photography in Macon for 30 years and also worked for the Bibb County Sheriff Department for 12 years. Leroy served his country in the United States Air Force. He was a member of the Methodist faith but attended Wesleyan Drive Baptist Church for many years.
Survivors include his wife, Alice Campbell Hartley; children, Jimmy Lee Hartley (Diann), Sherry Hartley Watkins (John) and Cindy Hartley Thompson (Lin); five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren.
