Mrs. Kay S. Wilson, wife of the late Earl N. Wilson, was preceded in death by her father, George Ervin Stokes, her brother, J. Ervin Stokes and her sister, Diane S. Corbett. She was born in Byron and was a management analyst retired from Robins Air Force Base after thirty-two years of faithful service. She was a lifelong member of Dixon United Methodist Church.
Kay was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family and while she treasured all her family, nearest to her heart were her two very special grandchildren, Heather and Zachary.
Those left to treasure her memory are her children, Bradley E. (Darlene) Wilson of Hampton, GA and Gena W. and Robbie Jones of Juliette; her grandchildren, Heather F. Jones and Zachary R. Jones of Juliette; her mother, Frances L. Stokes of Lizella; her sister and brother, Gwen S. (Bill) Moore of Greensboro and Lynn G. (Mickey) Stokes of Lizella; and numerous loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to Mrs. Wilson’s caregivers who, since December 2010, have taken such wonderful care of her, treating her with much love and compassion. We will always be grateful to ya’ll.
