Julia Elizabeth Hall, 91, went home to be with her Beloved Savior with family by her side on Thursday, March 13, 2014. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home, 3969 Mercer University Drive, Macon, GA. The family will meet friends from 1:30 p.m. to service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with Dr. Richard Zeller officiating.
Elizabeth was best known as a prayer warrior. She was such a faithful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was cherished by the members of her church, Eatonton Pentecostal Holiness Church (Life Point Christian Church).
Our beloved mother was the oldest of 13 born to Daniel Thelma and Annie Lois Sumner. She was the wife of the late Woodrow Wilson Wright and Buford Weldon Hall. She was predeceased by her brothers Ray, Kelly and Wendell Sumner; and her sisters, Mary Ruth Walker and Romell Sumner.
Elizabeth is survived by her three children, Larry Wright, Linda Guest (Robert), and Dianne Perry (Charles); her six grandchildren, Robbie and Lance Guest, Richard and Michael Wright, and Caroline and Charles Cameron Perry, seven great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her brothers, Ralph, Franklin, Bobby, and Walter Sumner; and sisters, Frances Fussell, Jeanette Richartz and LaVerne Cantrell Pritchett.
Mrs. Julia Hall was employed by McCrory’s Corp. for forty years. She managed several stores in Georgia, North Carolina, Virginia, and Tennessee. During her career, she was awarded manager of the year twice for her store’s outstanding performance.
