Joyce Segars Rosenquest, 81, went to be with her Lord and Savior after an extended illness on Wednesday, May 25, 2022. A Celebration of Her life will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Pastor William Jeffrey Shiver officiating. The family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.
Joyce was born in Toccoa, Georgia to the late Fred and Rubye Taylor Segars. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Edward Rosenquest, and her siblings, Talmadge Segars, Billie Segars, Genette Segars, Patricia Hines and Everette Segars. Joyce was a Baptist by faith. She lived and breathed for her family. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt. She was also there to love, support, and tell us to keep smiling no matter what!!!
She is survived by her children, Joy Miller (Dickie) Malone, Traci (Jeff) Shiver, John T. Miller IV, Peggy M. Hines, Kenneth E. (Mariann) Rosenquest, Jr., Pam Burton; eleven grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; sister, Freddie Greenway; and sister-in-law, Kay Segars; and several nieces and nephews.
