Jerry Derrell “Big Man” “Big D” Williams, Jr., 57, of Lower Thomaston Road, passed away Thursday, June 1, 2023, at his residence. Funeral services will be held 3:00pm, Tuesday, June 6, 2023, graveside at Macon Memorial Park with Rev. Bryant Griffitts.
Mr. Williams was born March 31, 1966, in Vidalia, Georgia to the late Jerry Derrell Williams, Sr. and Bessie Johnson Williams. He was an avid golfer and bowler and also was passionate about NASCAR. Mr. Williams excelled in football and baseball at Chapel Hill Christian Academy in his youth and as an adult he helped his father run the family business Williams Vending. He was preceded in death by several uncles and aunts and by his grandparents.
Mr. Williams is survived by his wife of thirty-eight years: Lisa Williams; children: Joshua Michael Williams and Courtney Daniale Williams; granddaughter: Elizabeth Gerri Williams and by his sister: Patty Duncan (Sherrod).
