Hugh Franklin McCrary

IVEY - Hugh “Mack” Franklin McCrary, 51, died Friday, August 26, 2011 at his residence. Cryptside services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday in the Mausoleum Chapel at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens with Brother Joseph Clark officiating. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be Joseph Craig Rowe, Jacob Christian Clark, Joseph Timothy Clark, James Orr McCrary, Hugh Franklin McCrary, Sr. and James Orr McCrary, Jr. The family will meet friends from 1 p.m. to service time on Wednesday at Glen Haven Mausoleum Chapel.

Mr. McCrary was born in Sacramento, CA. He served with the U. S. Navy and had worked with Georgia Power Co.

He was a faithful follower of Jesus, was a loving son and was considered by his sister to be the best brother in the world.

Now reunited with the love of his life, his late wife “Bet,” he will be missed by his mother, Mary Faith O’Neal of Moultrie, his father, Hugh (Isabel) Franklin McCrary of Runaway Bay, TX; his daughter, Katherine Nicole McCrary and his sister, Letitia (Joseph) Clark of Honeoye Falls, NY.
