Helen Presley Giles Hall

Helen Presley Giles Hall, 95, passed away on Monday, August 15, 2022. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Daniel Corbitt officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 886 Mulberry St., Macon GA 31201.

Helen was born in Fort Valley, Georgia to the late Clyde and Mildred Ray Presley. She was preceded by her husbands, William Giles and Joe Hall, brothers, Johnny Presley and Joe Presley and sister, Bessie Avera. She was retired from the Selective Service System and was a former member of Ingleside United Methodist Church. She was a member of the American Legion and NARFF and the Bolingbroke Community Club. Helen enjoyed dancing and singing and she was a member of the Circle 8 Square Dance Club. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt.

She is survived by her daughter, Wanda (Coley) Hamrick of Macon, grandchildren, John (Wendy) Hamrick Jr., Justin T. (Jenni) Hamrick, Karen H. (Ben) Farnsworth, Brandi B. (Josh) Johnson, William C. (Erin) Hamrick, great grandchildren, Josh, Giles, Noah, Mary Thames, Candler, Luke, Charlie and Everly, step-children, Judy (Gary) Kornegay, Susan Millwood, and Billy (Caroline) Hall and several nieces and nephews.
