Frances Sue Lipford Peek, 99, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, April 26, 2023. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Snow’s @ Macon Memorial Park. Burial will be at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Tim Long officiating. The family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.
Frances was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Edwin M. and Margaret Lipford. She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis James Peek, her son, Jerry Edward Peek, siblings, Cherry L. Daniels, Helen L. Muldrew, Margaret L. Doud, Avant Lipford, Joe Lipford and Tate Lipford. Frances was a faithful member of First Evangelical Church. She enjoyed reading and watching Western movies. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt.
She is survived by her children, Curtis Jimmy (Elaine) Peek of Griffin, Richard (Susan) Peek of Macon, grandchildren, Corrie (Daniel) Davis, Carrie (Wesley) Arnold, Samantha (Clay) Sandefur, Sonya (Kenny) Childs, Matthew (Danielle) Peek, Shannon (Stephen) Finney, LauraLee (Chase) Bailey, and Alanis Peek, and thirteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
