Evelyn Corine Bass Fish, 99, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, December 18, 2024. A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, December 29, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Snow’s @ Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Chris Dotson officiating. Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to Porterfield Baptist Church, 2910 Allen Road, Macon GA 31216.
Evelyn was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Willie Joe and Bertha McDowell Bass. She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin W. Fish and a son, Randy Fish, her siblings, Louise Barnes, Milton Bass, Julian Bass, Herbert Bass, Jack Bass, and Mildred Parks. Evelyn was retired from Robins Air Force for over forty years. She was a charter member of Porterfield Baptist Church, where she worked in the nursery and taught Sunday School. Evelyn enjoyed gardening and cooking and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her son, Eddie W. (Susan) Fish of Lizella, grandson, Andrew (Kasey) Fish, great grandsons, Nathan and Connor Fish, granddaughter, Vanessa (Robert) Lott and numerous nieces and nephews.
