Esther Ruth Rushin, 84, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, March 27, 2023. A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, April 2, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Snow’s @ Macon Memorial Park with Pastor Daryl Robinson. The family will greet friends beginning at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Beverly Knight Olson Children's Hospital, 888 Pine Street, Macon, Georgia 31201 or Jay’s Hope Foundation, 1157 Forsyth Street, Macon, Georgia 31201.
Esther was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Walter Heyward and Helen Melton Rushin; and was preceded in death by her sister, Audrey Elizabeth Roberts and great nephew, Austin Michael Freeman.
She is survived by her sister, Gloria Robinson; brother, Cliff Rushin; and numerous nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
