Dorothy “Dot” Carolyn Powell, 81, passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2023. A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 29, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Paul Dziadul officiating.
Dot was born in Sylacauga, AL to the late Aubrey and Ollie Belle Price Williams. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jasper Lemuel Powell, four brothers, John Lois Williams, Oscar Williams, Hurston Williams, Thomas Williams, and sister, Sara Darling. Dot was retired from Piggly Wiggly as a sales clerk and was a member of the First Methodist Church in Eatonton. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed fishing.
She is survived by her brothers, Ron (Clara) Williams of Jasper, GA, and John Oliver Williams of Hollins, AL and several nieces and nephews.
