Daniel N. Angelo, Sr. 73, of Macon, passed away Friday. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:00 PM in Snow’s Pio Nono Chapel. The Rev. Hershel Sizemore will officiate with burial in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. The family will meet friends from 6-8 PM Sunday at Snow’s Pio Nono Chapel. The family suggests that donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Program at P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675.
Mr. Angelo was born in Lebanon, Pennsylvania the son of the late Nicholas Angelo and the late Ludmilla Gerlorich Angelo. He had lived in Macon since 1970. Mr. Angelo is a member of the Catholic faith and was retired from Papa’s Pizza. He is a veteran of the U. S. Air Force.
Mr. Angelo is survived by his wife, Margaret Angelo of Macon, 2 daughters; Edith Hooker of Macon and Joanna Balmain of California, 3 sons; Daniel Angelo, Jr. Donald Angelo, and Nicholas Angelo all of Macon, 9 grandchildren, many foster children, 3 sisters; Julie Spivey of North Carolina, Monica Gundy and Michelle Weinhold of Pennsylvania, and several nieces and nephews.
