A celebration of her life will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, March 22 at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. on Houston Rd. The family will greet friends following the service.
A life-long resident of Macon, Clemmie spent most of her time with her family, whom she loved dearly.
Clemmie is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Johnnie Harvey Wealot, Sr; son, Michael Allen Wealot; 9 brothers and sisters; two grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
Clemmie served as a waitress at the Holiday Inn for many years. As often as she was able, she attended church. She was of the Baptist faith.
Clemmie is survived by her children; Johnnie Harvey Wealot, Jr. (Mattie), Vernon Jesse Wealot, Deborah Wealot, Kenneth Dale Wealot (Marilyn); seven grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; sister, Martha Whitehead; brother, Tony Bates along with numerous nieces and nephews. She will be deeply missed.
