Claudia Jean Meeks English, age 87, of Milledgeville, Georgia passed away on Monday, October 3, 2022. Claudia Jean was born October 3, 1935 the daughter of the late Modell Moye Meeks and Carlton Meeks and was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Eugene English.
A visitation for Claudia Jean will be held Thursday, October 6, 2022 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Glen Haven Mausoleum Chapel, 7070 Houston Road, Macon, GA 31216, followed by a Celebration of her Life at 11:00 AM. Dr. John Beck will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Claudia Jean's memory may be made to All About Animals, 101 Riverside Drive, Macon, GA 31201 or the American Diabetes Association.
Mrs. English is survived by her daughter, Cynthia English (Dianne) of Black Diamond, WA; several nieces and nephews including, Sherry Kurtz of Americus and Lisa English-McDonald of Milledgeville; sister-in-law, Ruth Dent of Powersville, GA.
