Charles Edward Daniel

Charles Edward Daniel, 86, passed away Monday, December 22, 2014 at Pine Pointe Hospice of Central Georgia in Macon. A Celebration of his Life will be held at 2:00 PM Friday in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Avondale Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Marty Watson will officiate. The family will greet friends from 5 until 7 PM Thursday at the funeral home and asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Avondale Baptist Church, 6970 Cochran Field Road, Macon 31216.

Mr. Daniel attended Bibb County Public Schools and Avondale Baptist Church. He was born in LaGrange and moved to Macon at a very young age. His father taught him carpentry from building a house from the ground up, to just remodeling and repairing homes. No job was ever too small or large.

Mr. Daniel was owner of Middle Georgia Home Improvement Company and Central Roofing Company. His work can be seen all over Middle Georgia. Mr. Daniel built for doctors, lawyers, churches, businesses, and home owners. He never left an unsatisfied customer and was definitely a people person. Mr. Daniel never met a stranger and treated all those he met with the same respect.

Mr. Daniel loved flowers, birds, and animals. He enjoyed traveling to the mountains and the beaches. Mr. Daniel loved his family and enjoyed the simple things in life.

Mr. Daniel was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children, Elsie Daniel; parents, James Levi Daniel and Lillian Daniel; children, Dennis Daniel, Debra Barrett and her husband, Jessie Barrett, and Brenda Lowe; sisters, Joyce Bailey, Tena Swygert; brothers, Kenneth Daniel, and John Allen Daniel.

Mr. Daniel is survived by his wife of 32 years and the love of his life, Susie Cravey Daniel, Fur Baby Mitzi; son, Derrell Daniel; daughters, Donna (Terry) Gray; Linda (Keith) Hester; son-in-law, John C. Lowe; daughter-in-law, Debbie Daniel; brother, Bobby J. (Roenelle) Daniel; sisters, Patsy Talbot, Drucilla Taylor, Hazel Farmer, and Faye Robbins; grandchildren, Chris Daniel, Billy Daniel, Joseph (Lauren) Daniel, Jessica Daniel, Lamar (Cindy) Bonner, Johnny (Tiffany) Lowe, Jr., Nikki (Art) Justice, Brandy (Tom) Watkins, Amber (Jamie) Baughman, and Terrell (Victoria) Gray; great-grandchildren, Tanner Daniel, William Daniel, Dennis Bonner, Ronnie Bonner, Tyler Lowe, Brittian Lowe, Carlie Lowe, Macy Lowe, Charli Justice, Miranda Justice, Thomas Watkins, III, Taylor Watkins, Garrett Baughman, and Chase Baughman; great-great-grandchild, Blakely Connolly; several nieces and nephews.
