Carolyn was born in Hartford, Wisconsin to the late Wade Jefferson and Mildred Roddy Payne and was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Carl Eugene Wilson, Sr. She dreamed of being a wife and mother, both of which she fulfilled with the utmost love, dedication, and passion. Carolyn was a member of Gilead Baptist Church for over 40 years, an honorary member of the International Association of Administrative Professionals, Central Georgia Chapter, and volunteered with the American Cancer Society and the Central Georgia Breast Care Center, making pillows for their patients.
As a paraplegic, she fought the fight with sass, grit, laughter and the sweetest smile, despite her constant pain. Now in Heaven, enjoying her new home, she is walking hand in hand with her Savior. She fought the fight and won.
Carolyn leaves behind her loving daughter, Katina Wilson.
