Buford Ray Clark, 93, passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2024. A celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 in the chapel of Snow’s Funerals and Cremations at Macon Memorial Park at 2:00 pm with Mark Hardwick officiating. The family will greet friends from 1:00 pm until service time. Burial will follow the service at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery.
Buford Clark was born in Kentucky to the late Roy and Mary Clark. He served his country in the United States Army and received a Purple Heart for his selfless service during the Korean War. Buford later retired from Brown & Williamson as a machinist with more than 30 years of experience. Mr. Clark was a member of Morningside Baptist church. He was a loving father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather.
Buford is preceded in death by his wife, Flora Joan Clark.
Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Rhonda Curtsinger (David), Melissa Comer (Keith), Terry Ray Clark (Gina), Kelly Deep, and Saundra Monroe; sister, Edna Lavern Sapp; nine grandchildren, and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
