Our beloved son, Brandon Kyle Cox, 26, tragically left this world too soon on Monday, July 11, 2022 while doing something he loved. Brandon was preceded in death by his wonderful mother, Sue Lawson Cox; and grandparents, Luther and Lorena Cox. He is survived by his father, Michael “Mike” Cox; his brother, Christopher Cox; aunts; Louise Cox Stahurski of the Villages, FL, Maxine Irby of PA; uncles; Mike Lawson of Macon; and numerous beloved cousins.
Brandon grew up here in Macon, Georgia where he graduated from First Presbyterian Day School in 2014. Growing up in Macon, Brandon was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church and was a plumber with Steady Flo Plumbing in Barnesville, GA.
Brandon leaves behind a legacy of being a loyal and loving friend to his family, friends, and co-workers. He was known for his big heart, sense of humor, and work ethic. In his free time he loved catching up with friends, watching Georgia Football, fishing, hunting, and riding his motorcycle.
We believe Brandon left this world to be reunited in love with his mother, Sue, and together, they are in the presence of our Heavenly Father. We long for the day we are reunited again.
We invite anyone who knew and loved Brandon to join us in Celebrating his Life on Sunday, July 17, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with the Reverends Brian Moore and Ed Wilson officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time. Burial will follow in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery.
