Betty was born in Birmingham, Alabama to the late Tiercie Wilson Taylor and Velma Roberts Taylor. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert Wilson Britt, and two brothers, Tiercie Wilson Taylor, Jr. and Robert E. Taylor. Betty was a member of the Baptist faith and loved spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by daughter, Catherine A. (Butch) Watson of Peachtree City, GA, daughter-in-law, Pam Britt, grandchildren, Rachel (Jeremy) Pickens, Laura (Garrett) Grover, Ben (Leigh) Watson, David Watson, Paige Wilder, great grandchildren, Evelyn Pickens, Jacob Pickens, Elin Grover, Morgan (Hunter) Revill, great great grandchildren, Lily and Riley Revill.
