Alice Irene Taylor

Alice Irene Taylor, 91, passed away Monday, January 29, 2018. A celebration of her life will be held Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at 11:00am in the Chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with Rev. Hershel Sizemore officiating. Burial will follow in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Active pallbearers include, Aaron Arnold, Austin Kory, Christ Bryant, Jamey Taylor, Matt Connally and Ronnie Carr. Honorary pallbearers include, Dana Jackson and Chace Tuten. The family will greet friends Tuesday night from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home. Alice was born in Douglasville, Georgia to the late Minor and Savannah Shepard Meadows and was preceded in death by her husband, James F. Taylor; daughter, Catherine Hambrick; and several siblings. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend.

Survivors include her children, Ken (Dianne) Taylor, Jim (Cindy) Taylor and Carolyn (Jerry) Crowell; grandchildren, Daphne Collins, Elizabeth Bird (Larry), Leslie Tuten (Chris), Deanna (Matt) Connally, Dana (Evie) Jackson, Dena Echols (Paul), Jamey (Shanna) Taylor and Rhonda Durden; and numerous great grandchildren.
