Alashia MeShone Watson

Alashia MeShone Watson, 38, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 11:00am in the Chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with Rev. Edward Arnold officiating. Entombment will follow in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will greet friends Friday, September 7, 2018 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home.

Alashia was born in Macon to Terry and Rev. Deborah Franks Watson. She was a member of the African Methodist Episcopal Church and was a loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend.

Survivors include her parents, Terry and Rev. Deborah Franks Watson; brother, Adrian Jamel Watson, Sr. (fiancé, Vernetta Dumas and daughters, Kayla and Nyia Dumas); nephew, Adrian Jamel Watson, Jr.; adopted sister, Synetra Wimberly; special cousins, Jacquelyn Johnson and Sonja Johnson Webb; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and her beloved dog, Chester.
