Alan Parker Mann, 52, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 28, 2022. A celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with Dr. Richard Kremer officiating. The family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m. to service time. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Vineville Baptist Church, 2591 Vineville Ave., Macon GA 31204.
Alan was born in Dayton, Ohio to Edward Leroy Mann, Jr. and Bonnie Baxley Mann. Alan was self-employed growing up in the Augusta – Evans area. He graduated from Evans High School and attended Augusta College. He loved country music, playing his guitar, playing golf and hunting. Alan was a gifted artist and enjoyed sketching detailed scenes and animals. He received 2nd place in Governors Honor his senior year in high school. Alan had a great sense of humor and could keep his family and friends entertained for hours with his real life experiences.
Alan is survived by his mother and father, Bonnie and Roy Mann, his brother, Mike and his daughter, Alyse Meierhenry.
