Vivian G. Hoppe, 90 of Loves Park, passed away peacefully, Monday October 22, 2018. She was born August 7th, 1928 to John and Grace Hoffman. Vivian was a beacon of light to all who knew her. She spent 51 years lovingly married to Melvin L. Hoppe, and spent her life as a caretaker for their children and homemaker. Vivian and Melvin spent 12 years of retirement together traveling, enjoying their swim group, and enjoying family together. Vivian was an active member of Martha’s circle at Grace Lutheran Church, and was a faithful servant of the Lord. Vivian was a loving grandmother and would love to babysit her grandchildren and enjoyed their time together. Her grandchildren are blessed with memories of Shirley Temple, playing host, and eating meals together with their grandmother.
Vivian is survived by her children, Alan (Rhonda) Hoppe, and Karen (Mark) Newton, her Grandchildren Kristin Hoppe- Lemos, Kevin Lemos, Kyle Hoppe, Amy Newton-Politsch (Les), Aaron Newton, Nathan (Victoria) Newton , her great grandchildren, Gene Politsch and Christopher Politsch, and many dear friends.
She is Predeceased by her Husband Melvin, her parents Grace and John Hoffmann, and siblings Vi Schroeder, and Raymond Hoffmann
