Ronnie P. Miller, 77, of Rockford passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, December 16, 2014, surrounded by his loving family. Born December 16, 1937 in Truro, IA, to William H. and Maxine (Holmes) Miller.
Ron married Donna Hudson on July 3, 1959 in Rockford.
He worked for Warner Lambert as a machinist, retiring after 26 years of service.
Ron enjoyed working in his yard, gardening, trying his luck at the casinos, and golfing. He was especially proud of the hole in 1 he scored on June 25, 2000.
He loved his cat Baxter and was happiest when spending time with his family especially his wife, children, and grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife; grandson, Andrew Miller; and sister, Patricia (Thomas) Castree of Wisconsin.
Predeceased by his children, Cindy and Terry Miller; parents; and brothers, Billy and Jimmy Miller.
