Loving Mother, wife, friend, and daughter passed away June 22, 2019. Lisa was a source of support to everyone around her, and someone that anyone could turn to if they needed to talk. She graduated Jefferson High school in class of 1992. During her high school years she would commonly be found dancing with her girlfriends at Park Lanes. Lisa’s love for education continued into adulthood where she pursued an Associate’s degree and spent a career at Ephraim McDowell Reginal Medical Center specializing in medical billing. During her career she and her husband lived in Junction City, Kentucky from 2007-2017 before relocating back to the Rockford area. Lisa loved life, and many things in it. She loved her dogs, Princess, Kharma, Lucky, and Bubba. She loved her friends, parents, and husband, but above all she loved her only daughter Kelsey. Lisa was a firm and structured mother; she taught her family strength through example. Through every battle she would overcome, her family and friends were reminded of her strength. She also had a tender heart and would never miss a morning to braid Kelsey’s hair or attend to her accomplishments including the most recent; her high school graduation, the class of 2018. Lisa was always interested in growth, and wanting to better herself to new heights. Most recently Lisa also found enjoyment in recent years riding on her husband’s Harley with him. Cooking, dog walking, and an M&M collection were a few of her passions. Lisa will be loved and remembered fondly for her love for camouflage esthetic, her “Coupon Queen” skills, and kind heart.
Lisa is survived by her Daughter, Kelsey Kruse; Mother, Mary (Terry) Norris; father, Dan (Gretchen) Montgomery; Husband, Anthony Bloomingdale; brother, Ken Montgomery; as well as many other cousins, aunts, uncles and loved ones.
She is predeceased by, her grandma Charlotte Callahan and grandpa James Callahan.
