Linda C. Bergeron, 73, of Machesney Park, IL passed away peacefully, Saturday March 18, 2023 at Javon Bea Hospital. She was born April 21, 1949 in Batesville, AR, the daughter of Lloyd and Lula (Sexton) Wright. Linda graduated from high school in Arkansas and came to Rockford to live with her brother, Harry. She was an entrepreneur; owning several restaurants in the area; her last restaurant being Linda’s Korner Kitchen. Linda worked part time at Betty’s and enjoyed her time there with Rita and all of her other friends. She loved being with her family and playing games.
Linda is survived by her children, Jennifer Kirby, Julia Lozzio and Jason Lozzio; step-children, Jill (Jeff) Gilligan and Brad Lozzio; grandchildren, Shawn, Brian, Nicole, Miranda, Courtney, Mya, Austin, Haley and Nick; great-grandchildren, Derrick, Josh, LaNiyah, Alexandria, Robert, Jr and Violet; siblings, Harry (Holly) Wright and Gail Mosier; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as many other daycare children. She was preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter Lanette Lozzio and brother J.L. Wright.
