Geraldine M. Johnson

Geraldine May Johnson, 90, was welcomed into heaven on Saturday, August 20, 2016, with the love of all her family. Born May 30, 1926 in Brandsville, MO. to John and Lucy (Palmer) Willard. Geraldine worked for over 35 years at J.L. Clark. She was a wonderful mother who raised her family in a home filled with love. She entertained her afternoons by soap opera, classic movies and the love and affection of all her grandchildren. Geraldine was a great listener who elevated everyone she came in contact with. She was the family seamstress, whose title also included making doll clothes and crocheting. She loved to dance with her son, Bobby Joe; together they would make fun memories. Geraldine gave her family the most beautiful gift… the gift of love. The love for and from her family will never end.

Survivors: children, John (Helen) Johnson, Wanda (Marvin) Blomberg, Mary (Todd) McHenry; grandchildren, Joe, Robert, John, Shannon Johnson, Michael Blomberg, Colice McHenry; 12 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great- grandchildren; sister, Mary Ellen Robins; daughter-in-law, Elna Johnson; caregiver, Connie; special friends, Sylvia, Marion and Herbert and Denise who always kept her lawn manicured. Predeceased by parents; son, Bobby Joe Johnson; granddaughter, Christy Oglesby; five sisiters; one brother.
