Eric Michael Johnson, 29, of Rockford, was taken from us on Thursday, December 30, 2010. Born April 22, 1981. Eric was loved by his family, many friends and especially his dogs, Frank and Ava. He is survived by his parents, Larry and Becky; sister, Kenna (Michael Dean) paternal grandparents, Lloyd and Inge Johnson and Ivan Wallace; maternal grandparents, Ralph and Mary Torgerson, with whom he shared a very special bond; loving friend, Teneille Thomas and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins;. Predeceased by his grandmother, Gloria Wallace. A very special thank you to all of Eric’s friends for their love and support. Funeral service at 10 am Wednesday, January 5, 2011 in Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N. Alpine Rd. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
