Dianne M. Howe, 69, of Loves Park passed away Monday July 5, 2021. Dianne was born on December 18, 1951 in Rockford, the daughter of LaVerne C. and Doris V. (Champion) Vasseur. Dianne married Ramon Howe on April 3, 1976 in Winnebago, IL. Dianne worked for National Detroit for several years before retiring due to health issues. She loved her hummingbirds and watching NASCAR, especially when Dale Earnhardt, Jr. was racing. Dianne’s favorite pastime and joy was taking rides with her daughter Marcia and son-in-law Mark.
Dianne is survived by her daughter Marcia (Mark) Soppe of Roscoe; sons Shawn Keegan and Brian Howe (Carrie); grandchildren Treasure, Nicole, Tyler, Ryleigh, Collin, Olivia and Brooklyn; 8 great-grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild on the way; also her family in TN.
Dianne was preceded in death by her parents LaVerne and Doris; husband Ramon; brother David and sister Brenda.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family.
Visitation for Dianne will be Sunday July 11, 2021 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home 8800 N. Alpine Road in Machesney Park; service to celebrate Dianne’s life will be Monday July 12, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Wendell Maynard officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
