Charlotte L. Lasley

Charlotte was an avid churchgoer, she attended First Assembly when she was younger and became a member at Water of Life Ministries in her more recent years. She enjoyed singing in the choir and traveling with her church friends. She enjoyed tending to her garden and grapevine and just being outside in nature. Most of all Charlotte loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children, Samuel (Tina) Lasley and Damon (Sabrina) Lasley; grandchildren, Cain Cherry, Dylan Lasley, Cyrena Lasley, and Caleb Lasley; great-grandchildren, Riley Lasley, Gavin Lasley, Donovan Lasley, Bastion Lasley, and Oswin Lasley; siblings, Jerry Yates, Thelma Stanfill, and Doris Clements; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dortch and Leona Yates; husband, Murel Lasley; son, Denvis Lasley; grandchildren, Dane Lasley and Connor Lasley; and brothers, Donald Yates and JD Yates.

A burial for Charlotte will be held Friday, January 10, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Gardens, 8800 North Alpine Road, Machesney Park, Illinois 61115.
