Brian David Carlson, 49, Machesney Park - died Sept. 4, 2011. Born May 15, 1962, in Belvidere IL, son of Donald and Carol (Pfeil) Carlson. Married Robin (McFarland ) Carlson on April 12, 1986. He was the love of her life and always will be. Owner of Carlson's Tree Service and Advantage Tree Service. Brian enjoyed his fish pond, garden and cabin up in Hayward, WI. Survived by h is lovingly wife Robin. Step-father to Bridget (Chuckie) LeBranch Jr. and Shawn (Kelly) Chamberlain; grandchildren, Ethan, Paul and Katie, Andrew, Coty and Darrian. Brother to Cathy (Lance) Waters and Jenny (Danny) Keen. Uncle to Missie (Daryl) Shiek and Mandy Avery, Jessica, Cole, Taylor, Cross and Ayden. Son-in-law to Winston (Madelin) McFarland. Predeceased by mother Carol (Pfeil) Carlson and Sister-in-law Peggy McFarland Ianni and baby Carlson. Visitation: Friday, Sept. 9, 6 p.m. - 9 p.m.; Service: Saturday, Sept. 10, 10 a.m. at Sunset Funeral Home 8800 North Alpine Rd, Rockford, IL , with Pastor Ron Haese of North Love Church, officiating.
