Raymond Smith Givan passed from this life on October 8, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on October 13, 1971, in Louisville, Kentucky to Harry Buford and Glenda Lucille (McCloud) Givan.
Raymond was an excellent mechanic who loved to drag race. He was awarded the Burn Out King Award in 2003 and on his days off he could not spend enough time with his cherished children, nieces and nephews.
Raymond is preceded in death by his father, Harry Givan. He is survived by his beloved family: sons, Alex Givan, Timothy Givan; daughter, Marissa Givan; mother, Glenda Givan; sisters: Sandra Eberhart, Melissa Dye and husband Jay; brothers: Johnney Givan, Harry Givan, Randy Gibbons; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
