It is with great sadness that the family of Jimmy Dean Oldfield, age 53 of Seven Points, TX.; announces his tragic passing on May 12, 2022. Jimmy was born February 12, 1969, to parents; Jimmy Lee Reynolds and Nancy Lynn Tadlock. He was a loving and doting father, son, husband, son-in-law, and brother-in-law. Growing up, he loved the feeling of an adrenaline rush; which he shared with many of his cousins and father over NASCAR races, motorcycles, and street rods. In his younger years, he worked for Payne & Son paint and body shop. As time went on, he joined his uncles working as an HVAC technician; later continued with Assurance Air, as a Project Manager. Jimmy was skilled and intelligent; he embraced every challenge in life, starting with his own company Custom Metal Design. Of the many special moments in his life, the one he cherished most was meeting and marrying the love of his life, Maria. Together, they were blessed with a beautiful baby girl, named Hailey. Jimmy was a proud husband and father, he told anyone within earshot about his loving family. He enjoyed the country living, family cookouts, and spending time out in Hailey Acres. With his family and friends, he enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys, listening to ZZ Top and Lynyrd Skynyrd, raising pit bulls, and working on loud engines, while having a cold beer. Jimmy's memories of kindness, generosity, and adoration will live in the hearts of those he loved and touched throughout his lifetime.
He is preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Reynolds and brother-in-law, Miguel Elizondo; and sister-in-law, Laura Figueroa.
Jimmy is survived by his daughter, Hailey Oldfield; mother, Nancy Reynolds; and wife, Maria Oldfield.
A Celebration of Life will take place at the St. Jude's Catholic Church Friday, June 24, 2022 at 8:30am.
