James grew up in Seagoville, Texas where he never met a stranger. He enjoyed hunting and fishing on a regular basis and won several trophies for his delicious chili in cook-off competitions. James was also a member of a motorcycle club where he played Santa and could never tire of riding his bike in the great outdoors.
James is preceded by his beloved parents, Darwin and Ellen; brother, Charles Prince; and sister, Nancy Sikes. He is survived by his son, Michael Prince; sisters: Kathy Sayen, Janet Lemon, Carolyn Ray; brother, Jerry Prince; and many other family members and close friends.
