at her home. She was born May 30, 1930 in Dallas, Texas to her late parents Ralph Edward
Crow and Minnie Etheridge Crow.
Edna grew up in the Oak Cliff area of Dallas and married her late husband, Howard Hill Malone
on august 26, 1946. She primarily focused on raising her children and being a loving
homemaker but assisted her husband in his business by helping him with his accounts and
finances. After her husband retired she worked as a local seamstress in the community. Edna
was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Georgetown, Texas, a member of the Eastern
Star and enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family.
She is survived by two daughters; Mary Alice Malone Corder and husband Robert L. Corder, Delora Kathleen Malone Davenport; Daughter-in-Law Virginia Loden, grandchildren; Charles and Victoria Malone, Howard and Cayce Malone III, Sabrina and Oscar Vilchez, Stacey Shoemaker, Michael and Christy Ferguson, Amy Ferguson, Rebecca Ferguson; and 18 Great-Grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she is predeceased by her son, Howard Hill Malone Jr., and grandson Christopher Calhoun.
Friends may call on Saturday, June 3, 2023, from 11:00am to 2:00pm at the Eubank Cedar Creek
Funeral Home, 601 S. 3rd Street, Mabank, TX 75147, where funeral services will be at 2pm.
Following the service the burial will be at Oaklawn Cemetery in Mabank.
