Earl was born on October 29, 1924 in Kemp, Texas to parents Tommy Herman and Allie Mae (Mize) Mullins and entered into eternal rest on May 9, 2018 at the age of 93. Earl attended Malakoff High School. He joined the United States Navy and served during World War II. When he returned home, he attended Henderson County Junior College, where he received his Associates Degree in Carpentry. Earl worked as a carpenter his whole life and was a member of the Carpenter’s Union Local 198 for 55 years. He enjoyed his turning lathe and custom woodcrafts. Earl loved playing dominoes, spending time with family and hunting. He always had a good story to tell and was very quick witted. Earl was a very loving, caring and wonderful man. Earl stood up for the right things and was an honest man. Earl will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Earl was preceded in death by his parents, wife Polly Mullins who passed in 1990, wife Hazel Mullins who passed in 2013, sons; Ricky Mullins and Ronnie Melton, 3 grandsons, numerous brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his brother Ned Mullins and wife Linda of Seven Points, son Earl Mullins Jr. and wife Sue of Hartford, WI, daughter Linda Mullins of Clifton, TX, 11 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, other loving family members and many more friends.
