Celebration of life services for Christine Ozeal Tice, 92, of Gun Barrel City, Texas will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, December 6, 2024, at Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank, Texas with Bro. Steve Glosup officiating. Visitation with the family will be held Thursday, December 5 from 4pm-6pm at the funeral home.
Christine passed from this life on November 28, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 27, 1932, in Bowie, Texas to James E. and Jewel Estell (Lester) Preston. She met the love of her life in Earl Tice who she married in 1968 and was blessed with 50 wonderful years together. Christine loved to shop and enjoyed spending time at church and bible study. During her free time, Christine liked to relax with a good book or settle down with her favorite TV shows. Later in life, nothing beat playing dominoes and games with her grandchildren to brighten her days.
Christine is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Earl Tice and daughter, Beverly Barefoot.
She is survived by her family: daughter, Sherry Pogue; grandchildren: Regina, Jamie, Rodney, Kristy; 5 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; son-in-law, Leo Anders; and her treasured dog, Lucky.
