Chelsea Nicóle Heard

Chelsea Nicole Heard passed away November 16, 2022. She was born to Terri Gregory & Dannye Heard on Feb 18,1983, in Dallas, TX. She was raised by loving parents, Terri & John Gregory, and eagerly welcomed her brother, Tavish, when she was 11 years old. Chelsea was a fun-loving, smart, funny, intelligent, and witty young woman who was passionate about life, most especially her deepest of all loves, her life's pride and joy, her two beautiful children, Destiny & Kaiden.

Destiny inherited her mother's beautiful smile, quick wit, sense of humor, love of animals, and fun-loving attitude. Kaiden inherited her kind heart, gentle spirit, sense of adventure, love of all sports, and compassion for others. They both inherited intelligence, long legs, and superior athletic abilities from their Gigi... oh, wait, no. They inherited those from their mother also!

Chelsea was playful and always loved to tease her younger brother. When Tavish was young, Chelsea would babysit and watch Jeepers Creepers, which instantly made him cry and call his parents for relief. He remains traumatized by the memory, but survived nonetheless. As a toddler she encouraged him to eat Doritos from the trash, even filming the dirty deed with her unique commentary, "this is the face of a guilty man." But she was also the best big sister, driving her infant brother in circles on the riding lawnmower to put him to sleep. Compassion in action, love in motion, beauty in its purest form, and sibling rivalry at its finest!

Chelsea was kind and merciful, full of compassion and empathy. She was a woman who loved hard—her children and family, her fiancé, her friends, and every animal that ever lived. She was an anomaly in the best way with a generous heart, infectious laugh, and magical soul. She will be missed intensely by her family and friends. Although the world has lost a fierce warrior, heaven has gained a devoted angel.

Chelsea is survived by her children, Destiny & Kaiden Helen; mother, Terri Gregory; father, Dannye Heard; brother, Tavish Gregory; fiance, Brian Esner; aunt, Sandy Runnels; aunt, Shari (Wallace) Hammond; cousins Andra (Kurt) Groberg & Alex (Eric) Jude; Brock (Naomi) Hammond, Holly Brie Hammond, and Blair (Jeremy) Hader; Amanda (Marc) McClain; and a host of extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by her dad, John Gregory; grandparents, Tom & Helen Carter; Barbara & Eben Mills; Dan Heard; Doyle Cavnor; and John & Clotagene Gregory.

A memorial service for Chelsea will be held Monday, November 21, 2022 at 12:30 PM at Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home.
