Carol was born on July 23, 1944, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to the late Charles B. Miller and the late Constance Gross Miller. She spent her early years in Pittsburgh, where she was a cosmetologist. Later, she managed retail department stores until her retirement. Her sense of humor and feistiness left a lasting impact on those who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her two sons, Richard Thomas Civitarese, Jr. and his wife, Amber, of Irving, Texas, and Anthony Charles Civitarese and his wife, Kristina, of Greenfield, Indiana. She was the proud grandmother of five grandchildren, Dillon Civitarese, Tyler Civitarese, Courtney Civitarese, and Nicole Civitarese, and three great-grandchildren, Eva Civitarese, Silas Civitarese, and Isabelle Smith. Additionally, she is survived by her three siblings Charles Miller, Janet Gardner, and Ronald Miller.
In addition to her parents and husband, Carol was preceded in death by her grandson, Zack Smith.
Carol will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her legacy of love and dedication to her family will live on through the many lives she touched.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 7, 2024 @ 11 a.m. at Eubank Cedar Creek Memorial Park in Mabank, followed by a gathering for lunch at 19459 Ponderosa Drive, Eustace Texas, 75063.
