A private graveside service will be held Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at Floral Hills Cemetery in Lynnwood, with a reception immediately following.
Mr. Albrecht was born October 30, 1921 in Cando, North Dakota, to Martha Broeckel.
He served in the U.S. Army during WWII, and, upon discharge, settled in the Seattle area with his bride Phyllis.
Mr. Albrecht provided for his family by working for Westinghouse for many years, and eventually became the owner/manager of an appliance service company in Everett. He and Phyllis sold the business and retired in 1995.
Bob enjoyed sports fishing, horse shoes, watching the Mariners, and puttering around the house and yard in his spare time. In his later years, he and Phyllis enjoyed their daily rousing games of scrabble.
He is survived by his wife Phyllis; sisters Elaine Nevakovich, and Verna Eddy; son Richard Albrecht; daughters and their spouses Claudia and Alfred Anthony and their children Tara and Asia; Carol and Ted Hershberger, and their children Robyn and Sam; daughter Cindy Monsen and her children Melissa, Hayley and Stephanie; and great-grandchildren Patrick, Kulani, Charles, Bella, and Nicholas.
He was preceded in death by sisters Dorothy, Eunice, and Marlis.
