Mark Stockwell, age 70, was born on August 10, 1941 in Minneapolis, Minnesota and peacefully went home to Jesus on January 4, 2012 at his home with his wife Beatrice of 49 years by his side. He proudly raised his family with 2 sons in Brier, Washington and lived in all three homes that he built with his own hand. There wasn't anything Mark could not do.
Papa was a sea captain much of his life; his bravery in the open sea and his unwavering commitment to family will carry on for generations. Papa's grandchildren gave him his greatest joy.
He leaves behind his faithful wife, Beatrice; brothers Ken and Gary; sister, Beryl; sons, Mark C. Stockwell, DDS and his wife, Dianne; Clay and his wife Lynn; grandchildren Zach, Nathan, Alexis and Carson.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 13, 2012 at 4:30pm at Northshore Baptist Church, 10301 NE 145th Street, Kirkland, WA, 98034.
