Madeline Alexander was born on July 27, 1926 in Honolulu, Hawaii to Glenn and Annie Gayer. Surrounded by family, she was called by the Lord to his house on June 15, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, William Alexander; her daughter, Deborah Johnson; her grandson, William (Billy) Johnson; her granddaughter, Jodie Holt; and her beloved pet, Chihuahua Felicia. She is survived by her sister, Grace Kramer; her brother, John Gayer; her daughters, Karen (Bob) Devine, Wilma Wacklin, and Darlene Baumgart. She was also blessed with nine grandchildren, Billy, Bobby, Charlie, Chris, Robert, Maile, Jodie, Nichol, and Robin; 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. All who will miss her laughter and hugs dearly. Although she lived in the Seattle area for 19 years, her heart and soul was always in her birthplace of the Hawaiian islands. A Hawaiian themed memorial service will be held at Purdy & Walters at Floral Hills on Friday, June 20, 2014 at 2 p.m.
