Dorothy Faye Swanberg Woeck, age 76 of Marysville, Washington passed peacefully on March 27th, 2018 with her daughter and best friend of 57 years, Nonie Hardy by her side. Faye was born in Prosser, Washington to Oliver Leroy and Lela Mae Ragsdale. In 1962, she married Donald V. Swanberg. Bothell residents for nearly 40 years, Faye and Don raised four girls and were both active in the Bothell community. After Don’s death in 1994, Faye met Robert D. Woeck and the two moved to Marysville, Washington, married, and spent twenty happy years together. Forever crafty, Faye enjoyed crochet, painting, ceramics, gardening, and playing cards in her spare time.
Faye is preceded in death by both her husbands, her parents, and her sisters, Elsie Stephenson and Arlene Ragsdale. She is survived by her daughters Dawnmarie (Swanberg) DesJardins and Anna-Mae Swanberg, her step-daughters Leann (Swanberg) Vindasius, Linda Lou (Swanberg) Heinrichs, and Darlene Woeck, as well as her step-sons Bob Woeck Jr., Clyde Woeck, Casey Woeck, and John Scott Woeck. Her much loved grandchildren: Wynter DesJardins, Caleb DesJardins, Kevin Bulger, Jennifer Bulger, Shaylene Swanberg-Bulger, Jacquelynn Robinson, Brandy Combs, Aaron Vindasius, Adam Vindasius, Jenna Vindasius, Laura Cerreli, Cole Thomas, Kylie Woeck, Amanda Woeck, Bethany Woeck, Eva Woeck, Naomi Woeck, Jonah Woeck, John Perkins-Woeck, and great-grandchildren: Emily Perkins-Woeck, Casey Combs, and Kadie Woeck. Faye treasured her extended family and has several brothers and sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, and cousins for whom she shared many happy memories.
A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at Purdy & Walters at Floral Hills, 409 Filbert Rd, Lynnwood, WA 98036 on Saturday, April 7th, 2018 starting at 12:00pm with a 1:00pm service. The family invites you to come and share stories at a remembrance gathering that will follow. Directions will be given at the service. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the American Cancer Society.
