Susanne M. Holland

Susanne was born on May 7, 1970, in Lynn, the daughter of the late Jeannette (Bernard) and Robert Crawford. She was a lifelong resident of Lynn and graduated from St. Mary’s High School Class of 1988. She went on to further her education at North Shore Community College, where she earned an Associate Degree in Mental Health and Nursing.

Susanne worked as a Registered Nurse at BayRidge Hospital for 25 years. She treated those suffering from mental illness and addiction. Susanne is grateful for all of the special loving friends she met while working at BayRidge. She previously worked at the former AtlantiCare Medical Center.

In addition to spending time with her loving family and friends, she enjoyed traveling, gardening and music. Besides her many hobbies, helping people was part of her nature. She touched the lives of many people throughout her journey. Her selfless, kind personality never went unnoticed, and her smile could light up a room.

She is the loving mother of Edward, Brandie, and Baleigh Holland and Rebecca Garland all of Lynn; Mother-in-law of Diana; Grammi of Summer, Angelica and Andrea; Sister of Elisa Hunt of Salem, Jule Crawford of Middletown, CT and Robert Crawford of Norton; and loving companion of Dave Brown of Lynn. She is also survived by many friends, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Susanne’s visiting hours will be at the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple St. Lynn, on Tuesday, January 21st from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Her funeral will be from the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 22nd at 9:30 AM. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Pius V Church, Maple St. Lynn, at 10:00 AM.
