Susan Elizabeth Twomey

After furthering her education, Susan enjoyed working as a Legal Secretary in Lynn and Boston, and also at Filene’s in Boston.

Susan was the beloved wife to Joseph Twomey, with whom she shared over 50 years of marriage,the loving mother to Steven Twomey, the sister to David Gowell, sister in law to Harriett Gowell, and the aunt to Linda Nelson-Alvarez, and her Husband is Azael Alvarez.

Susan will remembered for her love of family time, puzzles and games, all pets great and small, the Red Sox, and that she was a devoted Big Papi fan girl.

Friends and family are invited to Susan’s visitation on Monday, May 8, 2023 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn. A prayer service will immediately follow in the funeral home. Burial will take place at Pine Grove Cemetery at 11:45 am.
