Ruth H. Ekenbarger Kennedy

Ruth was born in Hartford, CT, daughter of the late Ray and Barbara (Dart) Ekenbarger. She was a resident of Danvers for many years before moving to Florida.

Ruth’s true devotion was spending time with her family and many friends. She was an avid golfer.

She was the loving mother to John D. “Jackie” Kennedy and his signifigant other Ildiko Jolly of Sun City Center, FL, Leon D. Kennedy and his wife Lenore of Beverly and Barbara A. Jeski and her husband Donald of Concord, NH. She was the sister of John Ekenbarger of Nashua, NH, Barbara Maud, William Ekenbarger, Emily Cutler and Bruce Ekenbarger all of CT. She is also survived by her six grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Juanita Simons, Ray Ekenbarger, Maggie Pain, Eunice Malone, Del Ekenbarger and Marilyn Breicheck.

Ruth’s Funeral Services will be in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple St. Lynn on Thursday at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visitation period will be Thursday from 9 AM. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn. Gifts in her memory may be made to any local Hospice Foundation.
