Ronald Louis Plourde

LYNN – Ronald Louis Plourde, 64, a lifelong resident of Lynn, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 12th. Ron was the beloved husband of Bonnie (MacEachern) Plourde of Lynn with whom he shared 40 years of marriage; He was the loving father of Craig Ronald Plourde and his wife, Kristina of Dracut and Carrianne Winter and her husband, Adam of Peabody; the cherished grandfather of Makayla Plourde and Angelina Spinosa; and the dear brother of Gloria Olbash and her husband, Ronald of Lynn and the late Diane Bourque and her late husband Benoit Bourque. Ron is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and brothers and sisters-in-law.

Born in Lynn, Ron was the son of the late Irene (Cote) Plourde. He was a graduate of Lynn Vocational Technical High School, Class of 1972. He worked at Thermo-Craft Engineering for 47 years. Ron loved spending his free time watching his granddaughters’ sporting events; watching horror movies with his daughter; and golf weekends with his sons and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held at Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple St. Lynn on Wednesday, February 20th from from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends invited. Funeral services and interment will be private.
