Robert Sievens

Born in Everett, Massachusetts, son of the late John Sievens and Mary (Vasily) Sievens, brother of the later Joan O’Keefe.

Bob attended and graduated from Malden Catholic High School class of 1955. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Boston College class of 1959.

Bob was a member of the Boston College ROTC. He was a Captain in the U.S. Army Reserves stationed in Brooklyn, NY and Boston Army base. He was employed by Itek Graphics, Waltham, MA and Sir Speedy, Lynn, MA.

A beloved child of God, saved by faith in Jesus Christ, Bob served faithfully at Calvary Christian Church, Lynnfield, MA. Lovingly known as Mr. EE (Evangelism Explosion). He served as an Usher, Board Member and Treasurer. He participated in many areas and functions.

Surviving him are his wife of 58 years Patricia Joy (Crimmins) Sievens of Beverly, MA

Daughter Mary Beth Sievens, Phd and her husband Christopher Goodhue. Grandson Joshua Stephen Goodhue of Fredonia, NY.

Daughter Nancy Ann Stiller and her husband Jacques Stiller. Grandson Nathan Anthony Stiller, granddaughter Emily Cherish Stiller of Lynnfield, MA.

Son John Robert Sievens and his wife Deborah Jackson Sievens of Beverly, MA. Grandson Andrew Tylor Sievens of Lexington MA. Step grandchildren Hashem Najjar of North Carolina, Rami Najjar of Dubai, Summer (Najjar) Ghanem and her husband Mohaned Ghanem of New Jersey.

Daughter Kathleen Sievens Oliver and her husband Jason Lee Oliver. Grandsons Ethan Quinn Oliver and Liam Dashall Oliver of Manhattan, NY.

Funeral services will be held at the Calvary Christian Church, 47 Grove Street, Lynnfield, MA on Friday October 22nd at 10am. Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours prior to the services from 9am to 10am at the church. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Calvary Christian Church Missions fund and Masconomet Health Care, Topsfield MA.
